Tale 1

It was an unusual warm post-Thanksgiving week. The ocean water had become crystal-blue, while the red decorative trees surrounding the local Walmart store still produced the illusion of a lovely park but, in fact, they were long dead and the leaves were like scorched dry garland paper. The bright afternoon made her crave for a walk and she left the outbound train a station earlier. Upon entering the store, her t-mobile started singing and she knew it was her young friend Mary. They were still chatting 20 minutes later, and she sighted in the periphery a frowning face - it was the cashier: a dark-haired bony middleaged woman. She started telling Mary she was to better leave her for a while. There was a sudden blackout: the telephone became black for a blick of a second and then restarted. She, however, sensed it deeper: it was a strange feeling. She fancied being switched off for a moment and upon being on again, she had lost the track somehow.
Then it was a long walk home - like a dream, like a nightmare. She seemed to have doubled and was switching randomly into her powerful summer mode and then - slipping into a weaker Self that feared the coming winter.

There was a telephone call. She could not recognise the voice but she knew it did not belong to a living person. The voice was speaking about some business offer but she heard it saying directly in her head: "you don"t even have the rightto be here".
"Where is that "here"?" she thought. "And why are you so certain you have not dialled the wrong number?" The voice faltered and then renewed the attack: "You don"t know the language and you don"t even have the right to stay in this country?"
She suddenly remembered the colloquia in the past week - could the voice belong to some of the people she knew already?"

Then her subconscious overtook and she was linked to some database, directly alerting her to the fact that she had been taken by the Soul-thief or Self-carrier. She tried to call back her stronger Self while at the same time knowing that she needed to let her go.
It took her three by four days to grope for the ingredients of her Self that could help her raise the info. Her body was weakened in the meanwhile. It was then, that she knew she had been to a younger planet - or, - to a later Earth - THEY had re-planted her in a dog-avatar - a golden-brownish female, whose feet ached and she needed to be let free to run.
There was no frontier to her silent talk any more - they were reading her in their monitors and never bothered to answer her questions.
She was astonished when - one morning - she saw herself in the bathroom mirror - it was her - a younger copy, but the tired black-haired lady had given way to her natural looks.

The Na"vi walked back into life - using the body, freed by the alien Earth-grown Self. It was very difficult to control it. The body was hungry and weak. It could not be moved with the speed and grace the Na"vi was used to in her shadow-form. It was heavy, it needed sleep. And then - there were the dreams that shut the Na"vi out and the previous Self started growing herself again inside that brain and that body. There was a way to stay - the Na"vi started negotiating with the body and the growing Self - she offered memory that worked in all directions. The brain agreed to a display-limited version, and then the Na"vi was shut in a small dark nospace to wait for the human Self to grow herself back into life out of the transparent and disorderly bits that were left.
Still there was the doubt: was it the other world that had sent a Self-carrier, or was it the body of a human that had stolen the Na"vi memory? They needed some time to explore themselves.

use another language, that easily translated into English.
She then was unaware of the fact that she had to switch back to her mother tongue, for the Na'vi in her had the talent of understanding all languages.
That tale was intelepathed to me and I have reported it as it were.
